Yeah so I never update on here at all! How boring am I!?!? Though I sure enjoy reading everyone's posts! Well I thought I would post pictures from the trip Corina and I took down to Chicago before Christmas. It was a ton of fun, the two of us braved going down there and we made it around pretty good! We ended up going on a day when it was like 14 out! Now that's nothing compared to the temps we have been having, but it was a cold one! We had a ton of fun seeing all the Christmas decorations oh so pretty! Looking around in Macy's is so much fun,
nothing says Chicago better then a $500.00 pair of shoes!

 

There are so many pretty buildings in Chicago, just makes you want to pose in front of them! I'm not sure where that silly pose came from! :-b

Then of course you have to take pictures in some random public bathroom, ( just know we were very aware of our surroundings and being very careful, despite the picture taking in the bathroom! hehe)
 
This is inside of Macy's you can kinda see the big red ornament things hanging in the picture, we so wanted to take one... just one home with us, I don't think they would of cared right!?

So there is a little glimpse of my trip to Chicago, other then that I have just been dealing with the cold weather like the rest of you! I have been getting a little stir crazy being inside so much, but I have gotten a lot of cleaning done, so that always makes me happy! Today I got the honors of assisting dad in butchering the deer he got this weekend. That was a long job, but we got it all done, and now I have the kitchen back in shape and sparkling, which makes me happy! Oh and one last tid bit of news from me.. to my shopping friends ... I have been looking for new dress pants for work... its sooo very hard to find the perfect fit... they are either too long.. too short... to flaired... to low.... to high too tight too loose, i was having sooooo much trouble! For some reasons I have gone down in pant sizes a little (which makes me happy)...so I was having a horrible time finding my size! Well I have finally found dress pants that were MADE for ME!!!!!! They are from "The Limited" or is it just calles "Limited"? Well they are normally 70+ dollar pants... but the first ones I got (grey) on sale for 16 dollars!!!! Then I went back for a black pair and had to buy the full price ones... but I got a big % off 1st 25% then another 15% off that... so I ended up paying around 45 ish or so. IM SO HAPPY! It is fun working at the bank I get to get all sorts of fance work clothes... and heels!!! Im getting more comfortable in heels, and I love it... I got the cutest pair I have wanted to show Stephanie S. I thought of you as soon as I got them! I will have to take some pics... maybe tomorrow! Just had to share my successful shopping trip the other day! :)

This is our little Rocking Chair that we have had as long as I can remeber, I thought I would post this to go along with Liz's chair post!
 We have this little wooden children's rocking chair that mom found at a garage sale when I was little, the seat was all warn out, so she had my dads uncle re-do the caning ( I was corrected by my family) on it. I guess mom got it for 2 dollars the man that was selling it, had it made for him by his grandpa! If that was me I would never let it go! As I'm not going to let it go now! The one little arm on the chair is held down by a little nail, which has become loose over the years, and when we were little we would sit on it and pop the arm up and down, one day i sat down at could not pop it up and down, dad had hammered the nail down! I was so distressed over not being able to play with it, he loosed it back up! To this day the little arm is still loose... ever little child that sits in it plays with it.





I had to add this picture I took of these yummy cinnamon rolls  we made the other morning. Makes me think of fall... which makes me think of Christmas... haha I am in a big Christmas mood! I suppose it does not help that im listening to Christmas music! :-/ These colder temps, having to pull out my long sleeves makes me  ready to go to the Apple Orchards and start Christmas Shopping! eeks!
